Editorial policy
Updated We read the operator paperwork
This policy is the short version of how a page here is allowed to be written. It is binding on new pages and on every edit we make to the archive.

What a page is built from
- state licence registers and regulator notices — the Division of Gaming Enforcement in New Jersey, the Gaming Control Board in Pennsylvania, the Gaming Control Board in Michigan, the Gaming Control Board in Nevada and their counterparts in the other regulated states;
- the operator’s own paperwork: terms and conditions, bonus rules, the cashier page, the responsible-gaming page;
- bill texts, committee records and court filings for anything that turns on the law;
- official announcements of launches, closures, licence transfers and brand changes.
Order of precedence
Where sources disagree, the regulator’s record wins over the operator’s marketing, and the operator’s own terms win over any third-party summary of them. A press release is a claim until the register or the terms show the same thing. Quotations from a document are given in the document’s words; numbers, dates and licence identifiers are copied, never rounded or reconstructed.
What the date on a page means
The date in the header is the day the desk last rebuilt the page and read it against the sources above. It is not a promise that the market moved that day, and we do not roll it forward to look current: a page nobody touched keeps the date it earned.
What we do not do
- We do not claim to have opened accounts, deposited money or timed a withdrawal. Nothing here rests on a private session that no reader can check.
- We do not print a number, a date or a licence detail without a document behind it. No document, no field — the sentence is left out instead.
- We do not sell a place in a list, and no operator reads a page before it is published.
- We are not an operator: no bets, no deposits, no accounts and no customer service for anybody else.
Commercial links
Some operator links are commercial, and the disclosure sits in the footer of every page rather than in small print at the bottom of a review. Commission has no effect on the wording of a page, on a rating, or on the order of a list; the order of a list is set by what the page is about, and the reason is written next to the list. We do not accept payment to add, remove or move an operator, and we do not show an operator a page before it is published.
Corrections
Send the address of the page and the document that contradicts it to [email protected]. A factual correction is made on the page itself; where the change matters to the meaning, the page says what changed. If we cannot establish a fact, the sentence comes out — an empty field is better than a confident guess.
Who is responsible
The editorial desk is. There is no personal byline on this site, so there is nobody to hide behind: complaints, corrections and legal notices all go to the same desk through the contact page.
