Press desk
Updated We read the operator paperwork
Journalists, researchers and analysts can reach the desk at [email protected]. Put press in the subject line and say what you need and by when; a deadline in the first line is read first.
21+. Play only where your state regulator allows it. We take a commission from some operators; it never moves a room up the list. Gambling problem? Call the National Problem Gambling Helpline, 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738).
What we can usefully comment on
- the state of a regulated US market as the register and the regulator’s notices describe it — who is licensed, what launched, what closed;
- how a bill reads, where it stands and what it would change if it passed;
- operator paperwork: how a bonus rule, a payment method or an account-closure clause is actually written;
- the archive — what this site recorded about a market at the time, with the original page as the reference.
What we will not do
We do not supply a quotation about a company we have no document on, we do not give a personal name for attribution (the desk is the attribution — see who writes the site), and we do not comment on the odds, the fairness or the solvency of an operator as a matter of opinion.
Quoting and reusing a page
Quote a paragraph or two with a link to the page you took it from; that needs no permission. Republishing a page whole, or reusing a table or a chart, does — ask first at [email protected]. Archive pages belong to the publication that produced them, and we cannot license them on its behalf.
For a correction rather than a comment, the route is in the editorial policy.
