Updated We read the operator paperwork
The desk commissions freelance work on the regulated US markets. There is no application form on this site and no rolling job board: a pitch by email is the whole process.
21+. Play only where your state regulator allows it. We take a commission from some operators; it never moves a room up the list. Gambling problem? Call the National Problem Gambling Helpline, 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738).
What we buy
- State explainers — what is legal in one state, who is licensed, what a player can and cannot do there.
- Operator files built from the operator’s own terms, bonus rules and cashier page, with the awkward clauses quoted rather than paraphrased.
- Legislative work — a bill read properly, its history and what it would actually change.
- Payments and mechanics — how a method works in a given state, what the limits are, where the paperwork says the delay comes from.
The standard
- Every claim has a document behind it, and the document is named in the pitch, not promised later.
- No invented testing: a page here never says an account was opened, a deposit was staked or a withdrawal was timed, and we will not print that under your name either.
- No numbers without a source: no payout speeds from memory, no counts of games from a marketing page.
- Pieces publish under the editorial desk, not a personal byline. If a byline is the point of the commission for you, this is the wrong site, and that is a fair reason to pass.
How to pitch
Write to [email protected] with pitch in the subject line: one paragraph on the piece, the sources you would use, a link to something comparable you have written. Rates are agreed per commission before any work starts, in writing. Documents and tips that are not a pitch go through send a tip instead.
