Updated We read the operator paperwork
The most useful thing anybody sends this desk is a document. A page here cannot print a claim we have no source for, so a filing beats a rumour by a wide margin, and a screenshot of a page that has since changed beats a description of it.
21+. Play only where your state regulator allows it. We take a commission from some operators; it never moves a room up the list. Gambling problem? Call the National Problem Gambling Helpline, 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738).
What we can use
- a regulator notice, an agenda item, a licence transfer or a suspension;
- terms, bonus rules or a cashier page that changed — ideally the old and the new wording;
- a bill, an amendment or a committee record we have not covered;
- an operator email or in-account message about a closure, a limit or a migration;
- a correction to an archive page, with the record that contradicts it.
How to send it
Email [email protected] with tip in the subject line. Attach the document or link to it, and say what you think it shows. If we use it, the page cites the document, not you: we do not name a sender, and we do not pay for tips.
What we cannot promise
Email is not a secure channel and we will not pretend otherwise — do not send anything that would put you at risk if it were read in transit, and do not send material you are under an obligation not to share. We read everything that arrives; we cannot undertake to answer everything, and we will not confirm whether a tip is being worked on. Freelance pitches go to the commissions page instead, and corrections are faster through the corrections route.
